Here are a few pics from the shoot with the All American Rejects last night. We were running IMAG for the concert with 3 cameras and the crane. Sara and Lee saved the day since we didn’t have any communication. It was a little difficult to direct the show without having a headset, but hey when you got these 2 on your side anything is possible. 8 hours of setup for a 2.5 hour show and 1.5 hour tear down - gotta love it. I’ll get some frame grabs from the video up soon. More pictures on flickr also

Yea, I know I’m not smiling here, but hey that is why I work behind the camera.

What a great start to the week. I setup the new crane with the 12ft extension in the lobby for some fine tuning and testing before Wednesday when I will be using it to shoot the All American Rejects concert at ETSU. On Friday I’m off to the Asheville Film Fest for the weekend. Aggh yes a geek week indeed.
Below is a short video I shot today (yea I know it is tiny) for fun with the crane. Thanks to Lee and Drew for playing along.

Ok, so maybe it really wasn’t take your dog to work day, but I am sure there probably is such a day. I brought Oliver to work with me today because we had a house showing this morning. Luckily he didn’t bark at any clients and I was still able to get some work done. This dog has the life. Megan will be proud.
