The Geeks joined together at KP Duty in Bristol on Monday.

GeekSouth is a regional gathering of individuals who are interested in:

  • 1. Having a fun relaxing social break from the craziness of business life.
  • 2. Building a Network of Like-Minded People interested in technology and new ideas.
  • 3. Sharing Ideas and Resources on current projects whether personal or corporate.
  • 4. Promoting Technology in the Region and driving change.

Tim Buxton discussed of the new tools being used with web 2.0. He focused alot on RSS feeds and how to manage them.

Alot of discussion revolved around how to introduce technology and creativity to local business leaders in a way that eliminates the fear that is usually associated with it. We hope to have local business leaders use this group of geeks as a resource.
